Always a lover of the outdoors, Susan expresses her appreciation for
nature through her watercolor painting. Prior to her spinal cord injury
ten years ago, Susan enjoyed participating in outdoor recreation with
her family and friends. Today, she enjoys connecting with nature
through her watercolor painings. "Art reminds me that there are things
you can't control, and sometimes it's the surprises that give the most
pleasure."
